This MABBCO® Remanufactured Short Block is for a Ford 3.8 232 motor, model years 2001-2004. This engine is identifiable by its #1L3E or #3L3E block casting number, six stud windage tray, does have a balance shaft, and is intended for RWD applications. MABBCO® Short Blocks include NEW pistons, rings, rod bearings, main bearings, cam bearings, timing set, and freeze plugs.
