Details

Factory 2.9 Ford cylinder heads are known for developing cracks in the valve seats, as well as, on the top side of the cylinder head.  These cracks are common and can develop under normal operating conditions.  The primary reason these cracks occur is because the thin-wall casting of the factory cylinder head has insufficient mass to allow proper heat transfer.

MABBCO is now pleased offer its customers a better cost-effective alternative.  MABBCO’s HEAVY DUTY cylinder head option offers customers the opportunity to upgrade to NEW cylinder head castings that have 10% more mass than the factory cylinder head.  MABBCO’s HEAVY DUTY cylinder heads are thicker in locations prone to developing cracks.  This product is RECOMMENDED by MABBCO and is being offered for a limited time at the introductory price of $599.99 for the pair of cylinder heads.  THIS OPTION IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO CUSTOMER’S PURCHASING A LONG BLOCK.
