This MABBCO® Remanufactured Short Block is for a GM Chevy 4.8 292 motor, model years 1963-1966. This short block is identifiable by its 2-bolt starter mount, 7/16" flywheel bolts, and its #258, #404, #659 or #970 block casting number. 

Each MABBCO® short block is custom assembled as ordered so please call for build time.

MABBCO® short blocks include NEW pistons, piston rings, rod bearings, main bearings, cam bearings, timing set, and freeze plugs. MABBCO® short blocks are sold outright (No Core Return Required).
